Words fail at this horror: UPDATED

The Philadelphia Horror: How mass murder gets a pass He rationalized his macabre habit of cutting off dead babies’ feet and saving them in rows and rows of specimen jars as "research." Updates: I'll be adding more links that discuss this as I find them. Gosnell; Baby Feet Kick the Nation – UPDATES Slicing Spinal Cords With Scissors In the end, the hundreds of live babies murdered by Gosnell died because of the left’s attempt to create a world of cosmically perfect equality between men and women. They failed to compromise with reality and children died. As in so many other things, it is time for the left to grow up and act like adults. Adults suffer so that children don’t have to. If hundreds or thousands of women have to suffer some emotional distress just to protect the life of one child then so be it. It’s time for capital-F feminists to admit that, as adults, women have an innate responsibility to put the good of children before their own. I suggest readin...

Where Are All of The Women?

It should have been an obvious outcome of the combination of unforgiving government attempts at population control, cultures that value men above women, and advancements in medical technology that allow sex identification and the termination of the unwanted in utero. Gendercide The worldwide war on baby girls: Technology, declining fertility and ancient prejudice are combining to unbalance societies According to the article the normal ratio of births is 103 to 106 boys for every 100 girls. But in some areas there have been reported ratios as high as 275 boys for every 100 girls. I find this imbalance appalling not for the sake of all of the men who will be unable to find wives but for all of the girls who had to die and the mothers who had to kill their daughters to produce the imbalance. Not even the education and advancement of women seems to stop the trend of terminating baby girls. The stakes only get higher when you're only going to have one or two children in a culture that s...

Nothing New Under The Sun

The bible says that there is nothing new under the sun. Now ain't that the truth. Virginia lawmaker Bob Marshall seems to be channeling Jesus' disciples from a couple thousand years ago and not in a good way. " The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children." "In the Old Testament, the first born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There's a special punishment Christians would suggest." Marshall has since tried to back away from and clarify his statement. But where have I heard that kind of thinking before, that disability must be the result of someone's sin? Ah here we are, 1As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3Jesus answered, "It was ...

Y'all Got Played

Planned Parenthood, NOW, et al got played tonight. Had they not made such a fuss about the Tebow Super Bowl ad I doubt anyone would have noticed it. Instead they made a big stink and got everyone talking and watching. Tebow's story was all over the internet, television and newspapers long before the ad aired tonight. Focus on the Family got far more than they paid for thanks to the hyperventilation of those groups who felt that Focus on the Family shouldn't have been allowed to share their message during the super bowl (hello freedom of speech anyone?). Can't have women on television talking about how much they love their kids now can we? How is it that this is so objectionable but there's not a peep about other ads that I won't mention? Those are some interesting priorities. This is the other ad that aired during the pregame festivities.

Pro-life As The Lesser Of Two Evils (Updated)

Now here is an interesting argument. A pro-life stance is the lesser of two evils when the other choice is aborting a particular segment of the population based on their genetic profile. The linked post is a call to support McCain/Palin because of the demonstrated pro-life stance of the Republican ticket. I have noticed a certain cognitive dissonance in the online autism community on the issue of abortion. For the most part it seems that abortion is okay unless the individual to be aborted was selected for termination based on their genetic profile. Armed with the knowledge that upwards of 90% of babies who test positive for Down Syndrome are aborted autistic advocates and advocates for autistic individuals rightly fear the development of prenatal tests to detect the potential for autism. The post I linked to above generated the following comment that illustrates the conflict between wanting to protect the life and rights of the unborn autistic individual and wanting to continue abort...

Genetic Test for Autism?

I had hoped that the emerging science on the genetic complexity and subtleties of autism would curtail the lean towards a eugenic solution to autism. Those of us in the us autism community are painfully aware that upwards of 90% of babies who test positive for Down Syndrome through prenatal testing are aborted. I for one don't want to see autism travel down the same road. So this bit of news is a bit unsettling, Autism pre-birth gene test. Here? How many dead?

Death Benefits If you divide the total number of abortions provided by Planned Parenthood in 2006 by 365, you find out that they performed an average of 793 abortions a week day -- presuming they operated 24/7/365. If you knock off weekends and holidays, it's probably closer to 250 days, which brings the total up to 1158.6. That converts to roughly, five years worth of American casualties in Iraq every three and a half DAYS. That's just appalling.
